I wouldn't say this is the "only" guitar book you'll ever need - but I would say it's probably the best I've ever seen. I reach for it every time I practice. The explanations are clear, and Marc Schonbrun writes in a way that keeps you interested. I also have his Everything series book on reading music, which is excellent as well. Definitely worth your time and money.
Really useful for a beginner with little musical background. Learn to read music traditionally or by guitar tabs.Great for learning chords in an effective and organized way.
This was a gift for my husband and he's just learning to play the guitar. It's a great book and I believe it can help him achieve his goals.
