Just finished this study with a group of high school girls and I would highly recommend it. It was our final study for a couple of seniors that had learned different study methods and so this was perfect to follow that. I love that she has you look at both the ESV and NIV in this study to find a clearer meaning to certain words. We used the videos- the girls I had really liked her as well. You definately would want to use the video along with the book. We learned so much and I personally grew from this very thorough study.

Good study, but not my favorite. If you watch the videos to go along with the study, the place in the book for taking notes with the videos is just a blank page. Beth Moore studies are much much better....with more thourough studying of the original Biblical language, more personal touches, more relational application, and more “passion.”

This Bible Study by Jen Wilkin is great for digging deeper into that book of the Bible. You are encouraged to first see what truths God reveals about Himself and then to mine the treasures of truth in each section going verse by verse. I have done a few of Jen's studies and always come away falling more and more with Jesus each time. I also think this study is great on its own but is even better when you can view it with the accompanying teaching whether alone or in a group setting. I highly recommend this study and plan to go through it again!

It's time to learn and apply the Word in a theologically sound and whimsically delightful way. This is one of the authors who will lead you through the text in the way God intended it to be read and applied.

It's always great to study God's Word! Almost half way through with our Women's Bible Study group at our church. It has made more clear that Christians are not by any means perfect, and Peter is a "perfect" example of that! God wants us to put Him first in our lives, getting to know Him by studying His Word.Jen Wilkin's studies have been wonderful, and this is no exception!

This is the study that sparked within me, a love for dissecting and studying God’s word. I love that Jen Wilkin “hand holds” you through each text to extrapolate as much as you can. This 1 Peter study was so humbling and Christ exalting. All of the ladies in my women’s group were challenged yet encouraged. I loved this study so much that I ordered and studied her sermon on the mount study after.This would be a great gift or group study. Please consider buying it!

I absolutely love this study. Jen Wilkin walks you through 1 Peter without overwhelming you. I enjoy that she teaches you a few verses at a time. This has been a great study for me and I highly recommend this to everyone regardless of what "stage" you feel like you're in on your walk with Christ.

This study is designed to make the reader dig and dig deep. I have noticed I've grown in my spiritually since working through the day by day study. If you want to find yourself understanding God's character then seriously consider this study of 1st Peter!

This is a sequel to Lady Anne's pornography of the 80s, where she exquisitely wrote about sex in a fairy tale kingdom.This novel has some erotica, but is much more story centered and complex. It is written wisely and feels different from the previous trilogy which seemed to be all sex.There's sex here, but more on the people and the changes they must get through. It was delightful. Anne is such a vivid writer.

Beauty’s Kingdom wasn’t as great a read as the first three books. It lacked the heart of the trilogy. The first three books took me less than three days to read. They were exciting. Begging to be finished. This book took me a few days to get through. I didn’t want to pick it. It was a forced read.

Great series for those with a taste for the darker side of sexuality. This book is the most tame in my opinion but still very good. I like how they took such a classic children's tale and spinned it so well.

This book takes place 20 years after the third book ended and Beauty inherits the kingdom and its traditions while making changes to the way it operates. The vast majority of this book is just reestablishing the world and all of the changes that Beauty makes to it.It brings back most of the old characters while adding a few new ones as well, but again, most of the new characters are there to help establish what's being changed in the Kingdom.

Ms. Rice has concluded the adventures of Beauty in the most intriguing way. This was an unexpected twist from the previous installments, yet still just as compelling. With an open mind, it is easy to explore the 'Kingdom' and discover an alternative lifestyle that provokes the musings of the unexpected.

All the characters are there. The story not as randy as the previous 3. Still good but it seems this was just written to close the gap on the previous 3. I recommend it if you have read the others.

I have read them all and truly loved them until this one. It was the greatest disappointment or my reading life . Tragic how far less this is to the first book . Just really pissed and let down

I have read the other three books in this series and this one was not one of my favorites. I found it to be extremely slow paced. I almost set it aside, but didn't. I kept hoping that it would get better. I wouldn't recommend this book unless you want to finish out the series.
