A history in picture. Touching. Thought provoking. An unbelievable story of the US. This is what was. Would we go back to this starvation and death of hope? I've never been hungry. Here are children who may never have been full. Imagine their parents Unbelievable pain and suffering. While the wealthy played games in Wall Street.
Absolutely incredible photographs. Gut-retching, easy to see why many of her photos were impounded by the government so the general public couldn't see them.
Very enjoyable from a historical perspective. Saw some images of the Migrant Mother I had never seen before.
Dorothea Lange was able to capture the reality of poverty, which is never a pretty picture. This kind of stark truth is what is needed in order to be able to convey years later the conditions that people faced during the depression.
I always enjoy Lange's work.
Absolutely amazing photography tells quite a story. So sad to think at 1 time in America this is how people were forced to live. One thing is obvious, despite everything, you can see the love they have for each other under the worst conditions.💑
