Fantastic Series - I just cant get enough. After reading these 4 stories, I'm an addicting fan. I look forward to the next installments. It's a given that I love mermaid stories but these stories have a built history behind them from not only the previous books but the author gives a insight to their past that is just heart breaking and in her stories they get redemption in their soul searching truth with their true mates.Hot Books!
I have read the 4 books and must say I loved each and every one and I hope the series isn't finished and we get to see the story progress and see more mers find brides and let us know about babies and how Atlantis is growing if you haven't read lease books do so you will fall in love the Me r men and their brides
This book started out a little slow. However, about half way through the pace picked up. By the end of the story it was riveting. I really do love this series and am anxious to read the next book.
Second chance at love at it's finest. Elan and Zara......just WOW!!A great addition to this awesome series.Action, suspense, drama, tears (I'm a crybaby), sexy times and love.So looking forward to the next in this series.

I bounced between giving it a 2 or 3 star. Both MCs are a mess. The female MC is so insecure and wimpy, and i did not like her. I felt sorry for her. it was awful what the mermen did, but boy, she came across extremely negative instead being the injured party(which she was). You need something strong to drink while reading it, and i don't drink alcohol. I felt like i needed it with these books. I have made to 62% on the 4th book. The MCs are all the same with their insecurities and misunderstandings. The male MCs have the same insecurities when it comes to the women. Thus drags on and on until you want to pull your hair out. I had to stop reading and give myself a break. Right now i have stopped and taking a break on the 4 th book. They haven't got any better. The leads are the same cutout when it comes to their severe insecurities. They just have different packaging.I am currently at 62%. I dont see the book being able to fix this mess. The author had the mother not be able to hold her baby because of her dark thoughts after he came to find her. I am sorry. She literally had her baby ripped from right after birth while nursing. On top of that, she was bleeding put. I would have a lot of dark feelings myself.The Mer people and their twisted way of thinking when it comes to mothers not being upset that they lost their babies. They are literally snatched from them right after birth. I also did not think it was sexy or ssmartto have the people under water be naked all the time. Could you imagine one of your sensitive bits(male and femake) scraping something sharp like coral or bitten by any number of swimming animals. All the fighting scenes, there is too much exposed. Plus, I would feel vulnerable because the women are in an environment that is not conducive of the human women turned Mer feeling comfortable. The elders and council don't want these women there after birth. They keep trying to tell the men (fathers) that they will forget. That is a bunch of lies. Even Surrogate moms have difficulty, but do it for the couple who can't have children. They are giving them a gift. These Mer people are steeling(kidnpping) these babies.Atlantis is suppose to set a new precedent. It is a start. Why didnt they do this years and years ago? This is a case stupid is as stupid does which is the Mer folk. Wonder why they were going extinct. It was their punishment for taking away all those babies from the mothers qho wanted to keep them.All of this is sad because this could have been an amazing series for me. A lot of the world building was great, not all. Blurb read amazingly, and then it fell apart.I finally finished it. I still don't like it. I still need a drink to get through it. I still don't understand or like all the nudity under water. Who wanta their delicate bits grazing coral or a fish nibbling on them? Seriously! None of that comes across sexy, just creepy and weird.
This is the fourth book in this series. If you haven’t read the first three, you will be completely lost or won’t be able to appreciate what is happening as much as you would. With that said, I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the last.The first twelve chapters were of Zara and Elan arguing about her having powers and her trying to make her fins. The beginning was just too drawn out! There is a side story about her parents being criminals, but there is no resolution to that storyline. Yes they are arrested, but Zara said she was going to go back to be with her sister and support her at the trial and then the book ends without that happening.It gets interesting at around chapter sixteen. Then Elan gets taken back to Dragao Azul in chapter nineteen by the All-Council‘s guards. From there the book just goes by quickly and then it’s over. All is forgiven and they live happily ever after with just a little foreshadowing of what is to come.I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I have been highly anticipating Elan's story for a while now. And it was...FANTASTIC! A little different, a lot of this story took place on land. It showed the hurt, the struggle, the passion, and the love that never really died between Elan and Zara. And we get to see the bond Zara got to make with her son, after she hadn't seen him in a year thanks to her being taken away from Elan and Drageo Azul.This was such a great read! Full of the dangers from a lot of the mer community and working on retrust and love on the surface with Zara, I feel like Elan had his work cut out for him but it made for one incredible story! And we learn HOW Elan and Zara met and I have to say, it had endured Elan to me even more than I could ever imagine. I just LOVED and ADORED Stolen By The Sea Lord SO MUCH! Even though Torun will always be my #1, Elan is a close second. He is strong, sexy, determined, caring, sweet, and perfectly arrogant at times that had me wanting to swoon. Zara is bold, brave, feisty and her attitude was a lot different than some of the previous heroines and I really liked that. She had no problems telling Elan how she felt and how hurt she was and the way she works at getting closer to her son and finally forming the bond that should of been formed the year before was something significantly precious that had me sniffling. This story certainly won me over and I can't wait for MANY more mer tales!Stolen By The Sea Lord gets a MIGHTY SWOON WORTHY FIVE SHOOTING STARS! I can't get enough of these mer stories. Starla Night takes me away under the sea full of amazing scenes, great characters, and irresistible stories.
