Got iPod - will educate

I was just talking with a friend last night how owning an iPod has "revolutionized my listening life" and was reminded of that this morning when I saw this post from one of my favorite podcast sites: OpenCulture (http://www.oculture.com/)
They're a site for educational and (mostly) FREE podcasts. Audiobooks, university lectures, famous speeches, history, foreign language learning, all kinds of great stuff to get those cognitive juices flowing.

Here's today's post from their blog - check it out if you need something else to fill your ears.

Re-Organizing the Free Audiobook Podcast Collection

Posted in: Audio Books

This is just a quick note to let you know that we “re-orged” the Audiobook Podcast Collection. The list, which had become a bit unwieldy, is now broken down by genre: Literature/Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry. And, within these categories, the texts are organized by the author’s name. Hopefully this all makes the collection easier to use. Check it out.

I am so much more of a visual person rather than an audio person, but this sounds really interesting! Thanks for sharing it! I also loved the map of the spread of the 5 religions - what a neat thing to see.
