Blessed

Right now, I am supposed to be editing our next family letter. But as I sit here with my laptop on our bed, bedroom door closed, I am finding it difficult to focus on topic sentences, tense agreement, sentence cohesion, and readability. In the living room, it seems there are elephants running through my living room!
No, now meerkats!
Now cheetahs!
Now rhinoceroses!
We've played this game before - Joshua picks an animal and they run in circles around the couch, Josh and Jaden doing their best impressions of that animal and Caleb and Andrew just running every which way, having a big time. I can picture exactly what that herd of rhinos looks like, and it's an amusing picture.

But along with the rumble of little feet and hands pounding the floor comes the real distraction, the most beautiful noise I've ever heard - one daddy and three little boys laughing so hard I'm sure they must be having a difficult time staying upright.
Letter writing? In a minute...

Growing up we used to play an "animal" game as well. One person would silently act it out and the others would guess. My brother was always the same and he would get so frustrated when we would not guess it.
